Taking Active Control (Group Exercise Classes)

Structure of the classes?

This class is most likely different to what you may expect. During this class people work on their own personalized program that has been set based on your health and fitness goals, medical history and fitness level. It is self-paced, so there is no need to try and keep up with others. You will be supervised by one of our team members who will assist you with any possible modifications, checking your movement, progressing your exercises and helping with any issues/pain/symptoms.

Process

2.

Complete a comprehensive assessment with one of our Physiotherapists or Exercise Physiologist

3.

Sign-up to our classes convenient for you. 

4.

Review assessment with one of our Physiotherapists or Exercise Physiologist after every 20 sessions. 

Cost

You will need to book in for an initial assessment which are as follows:

  • 30mins:  $82

  • 60mins:  $120

​

Take Active Control - Class fees:

 

  • Pay per class: $12 with concession: $8​

  • Monthly unlimited classes: $80  with concession: $50

 

You may be eligible for private health care fund reimbursements.

Can I get a rebate through Medicare? You will be able to utilize Medicare referrals for your initial and review appointments with our physiotherapists or exercise physiologist.

Can I use DVA to cover for AHA? You will be able to utilize DVA referrals for your initial and review appointments with our physiotherapists or exercise physiologist.
